The Challenge
The original open-plan loft was drafty, lacked cozy designated zones, and felt too harsh and echoey. The challenge lay in integrating the client’s desire for an industrial “factory” edge without leaving the space feeling cold, impersonal, or dark, while resolving the issue of large, undifferentiated spatial layouts.
The Result
We introduced dark metal framing, warm aged timber, and plush leather upholstery to soften the industrial edge. Textured concrete accent walls, custom open-metal partition shelving, and warm track lighting created distinct, intimate areas within the open loft, creating a harmonious and livable urban home.
